Service is provided over Openserve’s GPON open access Fiber network. Backhaul is provided via the Openserve metro ethernet network and handover to our clients are achieved via Openserve Broad Connect. Wistec chose to run its services over Openserve’s network, because it is simply the best and most stable network in the country.
Our 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps and 200 Mbps speeds are offered as A-symmetrical and symmetrical services with upstream bandwidths equal to the downstream bandwidths. All speeds of 300 Mbps and higher are offered as asymmetrical services with upstream bandwidths equivalent to 50% of the downstream bandwidths.
No need for the client to provide and configure a modem as the service is installed with an ONT. Wistec will provide a *Free to use WiFi Router.
Although it is Month to Month, the NFO describes a 12 Month Term. Cancellation withing the 12 Month term will incur a R999 claw back fee.
All services will come with an uncapped data package (FUP may be enforced)
